Best Workplaces in Tech鈩� 2021
To determine the UK鈥檚 Best Workplaces鈩� in Tech list, 杏吧庐 analysed anonymous employee survey feedback representing nearly 20,000 employees working in the tech industry across the UK.
Employees responded to over 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organisation creates a 鈥榞reat place to work鈥� For All鈩�. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organisation, no matter who they are or what they do. 杏吧庐 analysed these experiences relative to each organisation鈥檚 size, workforce makeup, and what鈥檚 typical relative to their industry peers.
The remaining 15%is based on an assessment of all employees鈥� daily experiences of innovation, the company鈥檚 values, and the effectiveness of their leaders, to ensure a consistent employee experience across departments and seniority levels.
To be considered eligible for Best Workplaces鈩� in Tech recognition, companies first had to meet the 杏吧-Certified鈩� standard of accreditation. Once Certified鈩�, each company undergoes a rigorous assessment of their culture, during which we review any anomalies in survey responses, news, and financial performance of the business to ensure there aren鈥檛 any extraordinary reasons to believe we couldn鈥檛 trust a company鈥檚 survey results.
Companies with 20-50 employees were considered for the Small size category; companies with 51-250 employees were considered for the Medium size category; companies with 251-1000 employees were considered for the Large size category; and companies with 1001+ employees were considered for the Super Large size category.
